Son of Raymond Arthur Whitham and Mildred A. Dana Whitham/Dana. Husband of Margaret Shively Whitham. ---------- Ottumwa Courier May 1983 (exact date not provided) Lloyd WHITHAM AGENCY - Lloyd Arthur WHITHAM, 71, of Agency died at 10:01 a.m. May 18, 1983, after being electrocuted. He was born Aug. 15, 1911, in Fairfield to Raymond and Mildred DANA WHITHAM. He married Margaret SHIVELY. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1930 and then from Iowa State University. He was owner/operator of WHITHAM Nursery at Agency for over 45 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Agency, numerous state and national nurserymen associations, the Lions Club of Agency and the Elks Lodge in Ottumwa. Survivors: sons Michael of Pickerington, Ohio, and Tom of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and brothers Walter of Plainfield, N.J. and Irvin of Washington. Service: pending at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
