Grand Island (Nebraska) Herald; Thursday, 22 February 1934, page 1 MRS. A. G. LEVENE DIED TUESDAY A.M. Mrs. A. G. Levene, 39, died Tuesday morning, 6:30 o'clock at the family home, 616 West Seventh street. Death followed a ten day's illness from intestinal flu and complications of pneumonia. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Hamilton, Elsie Florine Hamilton was born August 17, 1894 in Hamilton county. June 22, 1917, she was untied in marriage to A. G. Levene, a union to which seven children were born. The children are Alfred 16, Robert 14, Virginia 13, Harold 11, Gaylord 8, Joan 5, and Allen, one year of age. Mr. and Mrs. Levene came to Grand Island in 1917, shortly after their marriage. Surviving besides the bereaved husband and children are her father, Nels Hamilton, Central City and four sisters. Last rites were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Baptist church, Rev. Ralph Hobbs officiating. Burial was in the Grand Island cemetery.
