Cumberland Evening Times, Monday, February 12, 1962, Vol. XCIII, No. 42, Page 15, Obituaries From City And Tri-State, Mrs. Alpha Bennett. Mrs. Alpha Pearl Bennett, 56, of RD 3, city, Bedford Valley, died last night in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since December 10. A native of Beans Cove, she was a daughter of Mrs. Blanche (Elliott) Sommerlatt, of Bedford Valley, and the late Albert D. Sommerlatt. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Bennett, at home. The body is at the Silcox Funeral Residence where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. James H. Boggs, pastor of the First Church of Nazarene. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Nazarene Mission Fund.
