Rose Nell Harris, 81, of Austin, Texas, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. She was born March 12, 1931, in Austin, Texas. Rose was a wife, mother and friend to many. She loved her church and pastor. She was a member of Central Assembly of God/ The Bridge Community Church. Rose is survived by her only daughter Sharon Harris and her sister Henrietta McKenzie. She was preceded in death by Jane Cantwell Moran, Charlie Cantwell, Gertrude Cantwell Taylor and Marguerite Eastman Mahavier. I Know You say there is no proof that God exists? I know; 'Tis but a supposition- no one knows. Oh but you're wrong, my friend, so very wrong. There's proof enough. I know, I've seen a Rose! Rose will be greatly missed by her friends and her bingo buddies. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, the 5th of October, from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas 78752. Funeral Services will be held in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home on Saturday, the 6th of October, at 10 o'clock in the morning, with interment to follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
