Married Ira Mae Noak 28 Feb 1946 Funeral services for Eldor H. Hinze, age 80, of Round Top, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, Texas with the Rev. John David Nedbalek officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Cemetery near Round Top, Texas. Mr. Hinze died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at Fayette Memorial Hospital, La Grange, Texas. He was born Aug. 27, 1922 in Greenvine, Texas, the son of Herman and Laura (Plueckhahn) Hinze. He was a farmer and rancher, in the milk hauling business for 27 years and poultry business for 21 years. He was a member of the Round Top Rifle Association, Carmine Chamber of Commerce, Carmine Hall, Sons of Hermann, Warrenton-Round Top Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top. He was married to Ira Mae Noak Nov. 28, 1946 in Round Top, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ira Mae Hinze of Round Top, Texas; two sons, Ronnie Lynn Hinze and wife Maggie of Round Top, Texas and Elvis Ray Hinze and wife Cindy of Carmine, Texas; one daughter, Verna Faye Meinkowsky and husband Larry of Hallettsville, Texas; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Mueller and husband Lorenz of Rutersville and Ruby Lehmann and husband Raymond of Ledbetter; and one sister-in-law, Grace Hinze of Round Top. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kermit, Clarence and Perrie; and one sister, Nelda. Friends may call at Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top or American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home, La Grange, Texas.
