Bio

* Blanche was born Nora Blanche Rush, but was always known as "Blanche". Blanche was the daughter of William M.. & Sidney F. (Gibbs) Rush. In 1890, she was 7, living in Washington (twp?), Wayne Co., IA with her parents and older siblings, Mary E. 20, William W. 19, and Albert N. 13. The family later moved to Hand County, South Dakota. Blanche Rush married Albert Heinzerling in 1892, son of Henry & Sophia ((Herwig) Heinzerling. In the mid 1890's, Albert & Blanche, and Blanche's sister Mary and husband Riley Mallory, moved to Nebraska, then on to Missouri by horse and wagon. They soon returned to Hand Co., SD. They were the parents of Walter Raymond, born in 1895 (in Hand Co., SD ?) and died in 1898 in Vernon Co., MO during the short time parents were living there; Fred Earl, born 1899 and died in 1901; James William "Bill", born in 1904 and died 1984; and E. Mable, born 1913, married Lyle Green, and died in 1996 in Oregon. Blanche died in 1933. Her husband Albert died in 1937 while visiting in Idaho, and is buried there.
