Omaha World Herald newspaper, Omaha, NE Deaths & Funerals Feb 18, 1939 (died Friday Feb 17, 1939) Richard B. Lane Richard B. Lane, 63, who moved to Omaha last September from Genoa, where he had farmed many years, died Friday at his home. Seventy-second and Jones streets. Mr Lane had been a member of the school board at Silver Creek, Neb., 28 years. Survivors: Wife Elvina; daughters, Rosie, Gladys and Mrs Edward Bailey, all of Omaha, and Mrs Edward Zarek, Genoa; sons John, San Diego, Calif; and Martin, Sioux Falls, S.D. and a sister Mrs D.V. Durling, Prattsville, Mich. Funeral services: Monday 1 p.m. at Heremer funeral home; burial, West Lawn cemetery. Parents: Martin V. Lane and Rhoda Diana Sayles Spouse: Elvina V. Martys
