Bio

Viola Hollis-Lamb, aged 71, of Fordyce, Arkansas died at her home on September 27, 1955. She was the wife of George Samuel Lamb and the mother of Lewis Samuel Lamb, Sr. and Willis Lamb. She was the child of John Melton "Jack" Hollis and Rebecca Jane Shelnutt-Hollis. Viola is survived by a son, Lewis Lamb, Sr. of Fordyce, Arkansas; six brothers, C.C., W.J., Pearl, Clyde, Luther Hollis and Grady Hollis; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral servicces will be held at Benton Funeral Chapel by Rev. Lawson Hatfield. The burial services will be held at Moss Cemetery.
