QUANAH - Ara Reeves, 95, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bud Kidwell officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery by Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Reeves was born Oct. 18, 1909, in Eastland. She married Plato Alfred Reeves on Nov. 20, 1929, in Kirkland. Survivors include a sister Nora Mae Mayfield of Abilene; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; and two great-great-grandsons. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 10, 2004
