Bio

Officer Service No: O-682880 Son of Ralph M. and Ruby King Services for 2nd Lt. George W. King, 25, were held at the Central Christian Church in Abilene, officiated by Dr. Warren of Abilene. King was a pilot with the US Army Air Corps and died in a crash. He had 3rd degree burns according to Capt Henry R. Bourne. Death certificate shows buried at Stamford, Texas. Obituary and funeral home records show buried at Funston, Texas cemetery.
