Helen M. Ohnoutka, 93, of Valparaiso, passed away July 29, 2012. She was born February 22, 1919, rural Weston to Adolf and Anna (Novak) Kliment. Helen and Vladimir Ohnoutka were united in marriage April 26, 1938. They lived most of their lives farming together in the Touhy area. Helen also loved being a homemaker. In 1974 they retired to Valparaiso. She is survived by sons: Gordon Ohnoutka and wife Jean; Larry Ohnoutka and wife Judy all of Valparaiso. Grandchildren and spouses: Kurt and Barb Ohnoutka, Kim and Brian Turnwall, Karri and Paul Donahue, Scott and Kim Ohnoutka, Amy and Bill Schmitt. Great grandchildren: Clint and Caitlin Ohnoutka, Jordan and Allissa Turnwall, Erika and Lydia Donahue, Cole and Elee Ohnoutka, and Clay and Luke Schmitt; sister-in-law, Arvella Woita. Proceeded in death by her husband, Vladimir; brothers, Adolph and Edward Kliment; sisters, Bessie Komenda and Emma Kreicar. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 with celebrant Monsignor Paul Witt at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Valparaiso. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the church. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Wadlow-Rozanek Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Interment is in the St. Vitus Cemetery, Touhy. Memorials may be directed to Valparaiso Public Library or Friends of Saunders County 4-H and Extension Foundation for Open Class Flower Division.
