'''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 26, 1920, p. 10, col. 2 Died in Lincoln Bruno, Feb. 24 - Anton Janovy, of Touhy, formerly of Bruno, died in a hospital in Lincoln Wednesday, Feb. 18, following a surgical operation for appendicitis. The body was brought to Bruno for burial and interment was in the Catholic cemetery on Friday, Feb. 20. Mr. Janovy is survived by his wife, two children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Janovy, of Bruno, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Johannes of David City and Miss Maggie Janovy of Omaha and one brother, Joseph Janovy, of Meadow Grove. ____ Card of Thanks - To those who were so kind during the illness and at the time of death and during the funeral services of our beloved husband, father, son and brother, and for the beautiful floral offerings, we offer our heartfelt thanks. '''''''''''''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), March 4, 1920, p. 8, col. 2 BRUNO Anton Janovy of Touhy, Nebraska died at a Lincoln Hospital Wednesday, February 18, 1920 following a short illness and operation. The body was brought to Bruno Thursday and on Friday was buried at the Catholic cemetery. Anton was raided in this community, was well known and liked by all. He made his home at Touhy and leaves to mourn his death a wife, Mrs. Agnes Janovy and two children, also his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Janovy of Bruno, a brother Joe of Battle Creek and two sisters Maggie of Omaha and Ann, Mrs. Frank Johannes of David City. The bereaved have our heartfelt sympathy.
