Daughter of Frank and Katrina (Glass) Riska. Emigrated to the United States in 1889. The passenger list for the ship Munchen , which arrived in Baltimore, Maryland from Bremen, Germany on June 18, 1889 includes the following family: Antonia Okrina, age 26, citizen of Moravia, destination Nebraska; Franz, 16; Rosalie, 45; and Franz, 6. Also on the passenger list are Wenzel Diwisch, 42; Anna, 24; Antonia, 16; Hermine, 8; Franziska, 8; Christina, 6; Joseph, 2; and Maria, 9 months. Married (2) Frederick Guenther on October 5, 1901 in David City, Nebr. by a County Judge. Bruno, March 22 - Mrs. Rosalia Guenther died on Friday morning, March 18, at 4 o'clock, at the Joseph Zmelik home, where she had lived for several years past. Mrs. Guenther's maiden name was Rosalia Riska. She was born in Straznice, Czecho-Slovakia, about 96 years ago. Her first husband, Joseph Okrina, died in the old country of cancer at the age of 51 years, and 10 years later Mrs. Okrina and son, Frank, and daughter, Antonia, accompanied the Vaclav Divis family to the United States. Mrs. Divis was also a daughter of Mrs. Okrina. Some years later Mrs. Okrina married Frederick Guenther and they made their home in Bruno. Mr. Guenther died a number of years ago. About four years ago Mrs. Guenther fell and fractured a hip and since that time had been confined to her bed more or less. She is survived by two sons, John Okrina of Czecho-Slovakia, father of Frank and Charles Okrina of Abie, and Frank Okrina of Minnesota, and one daughter, Mrs. Marie Adam of Bruno, besides several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Antonia Okrina died a few months after arriving in this country and Mrs. Vaclav Divis preceded her mother in death several years ago. Funeral services for Mrs. Guenther were held in St. Anthony's Catholic church, Bruno, on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Father Bauer conducting the services. The pallbearers were James Polacek, Joseph Zmelik, Joseph Ciha and Frank Pospisil. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
