Jeffrey Frank Vrba, 43, of Waco, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Waco. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco. Mr. Vrba was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Waco to Frank and Marie (Ruby) Vrba. He attended St. Mary's elementary school and graduated from University High School in 1980. He and Annette Darr married in 1981 and had one son, Aaron Keith, whom he loved very much. Jeff was so proud of the man Aaron has become. Jeff was a carpenter and worked on many projects for his family and friends. He also designed and built a home for himself and his wife, Jeani (his "Sunshine"), and shared it with his stepchildren. Jeff excelled in playing baseball in his youth and throughout his life he enjoyed fishing. In his adult years, he became an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, and the University of Texas Longhorn football team. He always drove slowly on country roads to enjoy the nature and wildlife. He also enjoyed taking care of his fish, birds, and his dog, Baby Girl. Most of all, he loved spending time with his precious grandson, Gavin. Jeff never met a stranger and always saw the good in everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and by anyone whose life he touched. He was loved by all. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Jeani" Vrba of Waco; son, Aaron Vrba and wife, Krisin of Elm Mott; mother Marie Vrba of Waco; sisters, Darlene Hamlin and husband, David of Waco, Jacqueline Rhodes and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, N.M., Sherry Edenfield and husband, Rick of Lorena, and Carla Garcia and husband, Roy of Ross; grandson, Gavin Vrba; stepchildren, Nathan Collard, Rebecca Carroll, and Catherine Collard; nephew Brian Hamlin; and niece, Katie Edenfield.
