Bio

Military History - WWII - Navy Joseph Alford Stuck was Inducted 7 Mar 1944 at St Louis Missouri into the Navy. He Embarked 19 Jun 1944 to serve in the Pacific Theatre. He was in the engagements of Iwo Jima; Okinawa. He earned Medals - Asiatic - Pacific Theatre ribbon; American Theatre Ribbon; Victory Medal; and 2 Bronze Stars. He Returned to States - on 27 Dec 1945, and was discharged at Lambert Field, St. Louis, Missouri on - 5 Jan 1946. He served 22 months with the Rating of Water Tender 3/c. He was in a typhoon on 5 Jun 1945
