Dorothy M. Marak, age 77, of Seymour, died Monday, September 3, 2001 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Christian wake services were held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Friar Richard Eldredge, officiating. Burial was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Bomarton, Texas. Services are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home. Mrs. Marak was born July 25, 1924 in Rhineland, Texas. She and George Marak were married October 26, 1948 in Rhineland, Texas. She was a homemaker and lived in Bomarton until 1990 when she moved to Seymour. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, George of Seymour; two daughters, Gayle Morrison and husband, Mike of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Suzanne Beach and husband, Doyce of Seymour, Texas; one son, Greg Marak of Seymour, Texas and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy in 1959.
