Obituary courtesy of Metz Mortuary in York, NE. Evelyn M. Dey age 89 of York , Nebraska died August 17, 2013 at Bryan East Memorial Hospital. She was born September 1, 1923 at Utica Nebraska to Anton and Tillie Bushek. On November 9, 1938 she married Archie Dey. To this union four children were born; Jeannette, Dannie, Carol and Dale. She was baptized in 1923, confirmed to Lutheran at Gresham in 1939. Archie and Evelyn lived on a farm raising the children. In 1974 Archie passed away. Evelyn moved to Thayer, Nebraska and changed her church membership to Zion Lutheran at Thayer, Nebraska. She lived there until 1998 when she moved to the Leisure Home in York, Nebraska. She was still going to Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors are Dannie (Phyllis) Dey of Superior, Nebraska; Carol (Vernon) Ourada of York, Nebraska; Dale of Kalispell, Montana; Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. Also many more relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 at Metz Chapel with the Reverend Lee Seetin officiating. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery, north of Gresham, NE. Evelyn M. Dey age 89 of York, died Aug. 17, 2013 at Bryan East Memorial Hospital.
