Michael Danke officiating. Burial was in church cemetery in Abie. Mrs. Polacek died Sunday in a Schuyler hospital. She was born November 16, 1877 in Czechoslovakia and moved to this country in 1921. She was married to Edward Polacek in Omaha July 17, 1922. Mrs. Polacek was a member of the CZBJ Lodge. Survivors include a son, Adolph J. Babel of Prairie Village, Kansas; stepson, Jerry Polacek of Prague; two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Lydia) Young and Mrs. Agnes Aguilar of Omaha; one brother, Vaclav Prochaska of Crete; one sister, Mrs. Frances Kuchar of Omaha; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
