William Roy Boulton 12/29/1919 ~ 4/7/2003 BOUNTIFUL - Boulton, William Roy passed away April 7, 2003 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born December 29, 1919 in Bountiful to William Ward and Letitia Rosella Jones Boulton.William worked for the Denver Rio Grande Railroad for over 40 years as a locomotive engineer. He proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Railroad Battalion. Part of his duty was to operate the trains in the Philippines, and the government sent him to China to train the Chinese government engineers how to operate the locomotives that the United States gave to China. His hobbies included model railroading, which he enjoyed and loved showing to scout groups and others. He also enjoyed traveling and working in the yard. For two years in a row, Bountiful awarded William the 'Bountiful Beautification Award' for his work in his yard. William is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; and his sister, Amy Beth Brewster. He is preceded in death by three sisters: Mildred McCombs, Ruth Parkinson, Jean Johnsen; and his parents. Friends and family may call Thursday, April 10, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah and again prior to services Friday, April 11, 2003 from 9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m. at the Val Verde 5th Ward, 2633 South 50 West, Bountiful, Utah; services will be 11:00 a.m. Interment at Bountiful City Cemetery.
