Fort Bend Herald, August 6, 2007: Loraine Orsak, 76, of Rosenberg, was called home by our Lord on Saturday, Aug 4, 2007, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 12, 1931, in Wallis, the daughter of the late Ernest Klimple and Emma Wertle Klimple. Ms. Orsak was a former resident of Wharton and attended Wharton schools. She married Calvin Alexious Orsak on Nov. 23, 1946 in Wharton, who preceded her in death in 1980 at the age of 53. Loraine was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Loraine also was preceded in death by her daughters, Jane Arnold and Carolyn Smith; sisters, Katie Bergeron and Ruby Uherek; and brothers, Joe, Henry and Lee Klimple. Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Russell and husband, Gary, Rosenberg, Diana Thrash and husband, Terry, of Bay City; son, Danny Orsak and wife, Tammy, of Brookshire; sister, Aline Hutyra of Wharton; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date following cremation. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Home.
