Evan Rudolph & Betty Lou Sultemeier Bohnert of Fredericksburg, Texas both died in an automobile accident near their home in Fredericksburg, on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012. Evan Bohnert was born June 24, 1938, in Comfort, the son of Rudie Bohnert and Gertrude Ledbetter Bohnert. Betty was born March 9, 1944, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Alvin Fred Sultemeier and Olivia Weirich Sultemeier. Betty & Evan are survived by their two sons, William & Bradley Bohnert Betty's 3 brothers & spouses, Kermit & Leslie Sultemeier & Melvin & Margie Sultemeier all of Johnson City, Calvin & Joan Sultemeier of San Antonio Evan's brother and sister & their spouses, Reuben & Carole Bohnert of Fredericksburg Joan & Larry Pizzini of Tarpley, Texas Numerous Nieces & nephews Funeral services for Betty & Evan Bohnert will be held Monday, September 17th, 2012 at 10:00 A. M. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, Texas with Pastor Percy Smerek & Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Stonewall. Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in their memory to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, Shriners Hospital in honor of Bradley, Trinity Lutheran Church, New Horizons, or to the charity of their choice. Visitation for Betty & Evan Bohnert will be on Sunday from 4 to 7:00 P. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg and on Monday morning from 9 to 10:00 A.M. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Stonewall. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.schaetter.com.
