Bio

Edward grew up on the family farm north of Minot in Eureka township and attended Minot schools. He farmed with his father until he married Edith Mork on 9 Jan 1935 in Minot. They lived in Minot and Ed worked for Oppen's Grocery. Later they farmed north of Minot. After retiring from farming and turning it's operation over to their son, he worked for the Soil Conservation Service in Minot and the Ace Cab Co. as a driver. Ed was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Minot Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the Bohemian Lodge of rural Minot where, in the past, he had served as financial secretary and insurance representative. Ed & Edith had children, James, Gary, Joyce and Marlys.
