Bio

Lucinda was the daughter of Josiah A. and Melinda (Cowgill) Mathers. She was born in LaPorte Co. IN. The family moved to Kearney Co., NE in 1874 where her mother died of childbirth complications. She was married to William P. Conyers in 1875 to help raise his family when he lost his 2nd wife also to childbirth. She was the mother to both William's children and their children which were Daniel, Albert, Bartlett, William, Hattie, Effie and Alice. William P.died in 1900 and she married Johnson Pritchard in 1904. Johnson died in 1913. She then married Mads Madsen in 1916.
