Denison Herald (TX) p2 -- April 8, 1994 Whitesboro, Texas---Funeral services for Claudie Lee Skaggs, 69, of Whitesboro will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Huff Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Skaggs died April 7, 1994 at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Skaggs was born to John and Ethel Brazil Skaggs on February 18, 1925 at Greenview, Texas. He married Ruth Norman on November 17, 1955 in Lubbock, practiced the Baptist faith and worked as a self employed machanic. Skaggs is survived by his wife; three sons, Joe Skaggs, Lowell Skaggs and Charles Skaggs all of Whitesboro; two daughters, Louelle Berner of Katy, Texas and Martha Marcum of Whitesboro ; two brothers, Clarence Skaggs and Marvin Skaggs, both of Gainesville, six grandchildren and seven adopted grandchildren. ............................................................
