Bio

Jaroslov "Jerry" was born in Cerhenice, Bohemia. He came to America in 1912 with his two siblings Mary & Oldrich Douda and his father Anton Douda. His mother is Aloisie Ruzickova died in 1910. (not in childbirth) Jerry was married to Agnus Brabec. They had no children. Jerry was a grocer in Omaha, Nebraska along with his wife Agnes Brabec. Jerry Douda was a father figure to Charles J. Mertz. Charles considered Jerry his father. Charles' biological father died the year he was born. Charles mother is a sister to Jerry Douda's spouse.
