Daughter of Joseph and Katerina (Voboril) Simerka. Married Vaclav Uridil on September 19, 1882 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. Birth date from 1900 census which also states that she was the mother of five children, all living. At that time she and her husband lived in Linwood Township, Butler County, Nebr. '''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), March 18, 1915, p. 8, col. 2 Abie Mrs. Marie Uridil, widow of the late V. J. Uridial, died here Friday morning. Mrs. Uridil had been in feeble health for several years and a few weeks ago her condition became critical. The children were notified Thursday that she was dangerously ill, but no one suspected that the end was so near. Mrs. Uridil was known for her kind and charitable disposition. She leaves five children, all of whom except James the youngest, are married and have their homes. James has been staying at home caring for his mother.
