Bio

Born in the village of Kutabudice, town of Dacice, county of Jihlava, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now Lomy, Czech Republic), the son of the daughter of Martin Lorenc and his wife Rosalie Stejskal. Brother of Mary (Lorenc) Kriz . '''''''''''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), December 6, 1900, p. 5, col. 4 Vincenc Rolenc of Skull Creek, died on Monday of last week from liver trouble, at the age of 72 years. The funeral was held Wednesday Nov. 28 at St. Peter and St. Pauls church at Abie, Rev. Father Zalud conducting the services. Mr. Rolanc was a highly respected citizen and the funeral was one of the largest ever held in that part of the county, the funeral procession being over half a mile long. Deceased was born in Moravia and moved to this country in April 1874.
