Bio
Born in the village of Nasavrky, town of Habry, county of Caslav, Bohemia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic), the son of John and Anna Pavel. Settled in Butler County, Nebr. in 1869. Married (1) Annie Vyskocil and (2) Marie Bartek on January 8, 1876 in David City, Nebr. by a County Judge. In 1885 he farmed in Linwood Township, Butler county. According to the census he was 44 years old, born Bohemia and his family consisted of his wife Marie (age 42, keeping house, born Bohemia) and children (all born Nebraska): Mary (15), Vaclav (13), and Anna (11).
