Bio
Born in the village of Nasavrky, town of Habry, county of Caslav, Bohemia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic). Settled in Butler County, Nebr. in 1869. ''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), November 30, 1922, p. 2, col. 2 ABIE On Thursday morning Grandpa Havel [ sic ] passed away at the home of his son, Joseph. His death was due to advanced age. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Otoupal of Ulysses and Mrs. Prbyl of Montana. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery on Monday, Nov. 27.
