Anezka Palensky, age 29, born Moravia, residence Rescue, father Martin Palensky, married Charles Palensky on September 27, 1886 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. (Saunders County Marriage Records D/149). According to her probate file she lived in Saunders County and died June 25, 1928, survived by children Anna Ostry (age 40, of Prague), Cyril Palensky (age 37, of Rescue), Joseph Palensky (age 35, of Rescue), and Charlie Palensky (age 32, of Prague) (Saunders County Probate file #2885). '''''''''' The Schuyler Sun (Schuyler, Nebr.), June 28, 1928, p. 5, col. 5 EARLY SETTLER OF ABIE VICINITY ANSWERS CALL Mrs. Agnes Palensky, since 1875 a resident of the Abie vicinity, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Ostry, near Rescue, on Monday after a lingering illness. The deceased was born In Bohemia and came to that state with her parents, who were early settlers in the vicinity east of Abie. She is survived by four children, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Ostry, and three sons, Cyril, Charles and Joseph, all of the Rescue community. Funeral services were conducted from the SS. Peter and Paul’s church, Abie, with Rev. Bower of Bruno officiating.
