Bio
E. Loren Beckius 53, died this morning at Memorial Hospital in Schuyler. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church in Schuyler, the Rev. J.P. Downey officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood, The body will lie in state after 9 a.m. Sunday at Svoboda Funeral Home in Schuyler where rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Sunday. The son of Peter and Mary Egan Beckius, he was born January 16, 1921 in Butler County and attended Butler County rural schools. He was married to Maxinea Ellis Nov. 2, 1942 in David City and lived in Butler County before moving to Schuyler in 1962. His survivors include his widow; a a son, Ronald of Schuyler, a daughter, M Adrian (Judith) Hein of David City; a a brother Peter, of David City, and six grandchildren. His parents, two brother and a sister, preceded him in death
