'''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 29, 1912, p. 8, col. 3 Abie Grandpa Shonka, father of J. J. Shonka, of near Nimburg, died on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at noon, at the age of 88 years. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery near Abie last Friday morning. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Nemec.
