Jack C. Dillman, 66, 4 Fisher Drive, Bloomington, a retired Eureka Williams Co. employee, died at 8:51 am yesterday (June 13, 1990) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal. His funeral will be at 10:30 am Friday at Brady Funeral Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Philip D. Queen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm today at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Bloomington the only child of Paul Wallace and Betty Dunegan Dillman. He married Elzora McLaughlin May 28, 1949, in Danville. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Denise Schafer-Junger, Los Gatos, CA, and Rhonda McClellan, Fairbury and two grandchildren, Kaci and Ryan McClellan. His mother and stepfather, Russell Dillman, who raised him, preceded him in death. Mr. Dillman retired after 43 years as a tool and die and model maker at the Eureka Williams Co. He assisted in the work of the Charles E. Dagenhart Order of DeMolay Program in Bloomington. He was a member of Crestwicke Country Club. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington. Jack worked at Eureka Williams for more than 40 years as a tool and die maker. He built the family's home at #4 Fisher Drive in Bloomington, IL. A talented and skilled carpenter, he bought and remodeled several homes/apartment buildings in Bloomington and while doing so, said he was making Bloomington a better place to live for everyone.
