Dorothy Helen Feeken died September 2, 1995 in Crete at the age of 79. She was born June 7, 1916 to Joseph and Antonio (Novak) Pisar. She graduated from Dorchester High School and earned a teacher's certificate at Peru State. She taught at Evergreen school and rural school No. 2. She married Delmer Ralph Feeken on August 5, 1938. They lived on a farm west of Crete. Dorothy was a 50-year member of ZCBJ Lodge 74, Wednesday Club, and Wannaoit Extension Club. She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and the Ladies Aid. She is survived by daughters-in-law, Jeanine, widow of Terrence; Jeanie, widow of Dale; Delores, widow of Byron; grandchildren, Terrill Feeken Carroll, Carl T. Feeken, Eric H. Feeken, Douglas D. Feeken, Bradley J. Feeken, Karen R. Feeken, Michael J. Feeken, Deanna M. McKissack, Dawn M. McKissack; three great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; brother, Stanley Pisar; and sister, Florence Freeouf. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delmer R. Feeken; sons, Terrence J., Dale D., and Byron D. Funeral services were held September 6 at Kuncl Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Conner officiating. Organist was DeEtta Feeken. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Terrill Feeken Carroll, Eric Feeken, Brad Feeken, Karen Feeken, Mike Feeken, and Dawn McKissack.
