Obituary - Edmonton Journal - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - 30 Jun 2008, Mon • Page 30 Raymond (Ray) Henry Raymond McGinitie passed away peacefully on June 28, 2008 at the Long Term Care Centre in Tofield. Ray was born on a farm at Tofield on April 11, 1936. After graduating he attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.l.T.) where he became a computer-data technician. He then became employed with AGT (now Telus) He retired from Telus in January 1992 then returned to Tofield. Ray was predeceased by his father Henry McGinitie in 1969; mother Agnes McGinitie in 1995; brother Harvey McGinitie in 1995: nephew Keith McGinitie in 1997. Ray is lovingly remembered by his wife Fay; brother Donnelly (Opal) McGinitie; sister Alice (Eric) Munkedal; sister-in-law Pauline McGinitie; aunt Helen Bruha; Fay's children, daughter Susan Maclocha, son Sydney (Kerstin) Maclocha and their sons Matthew and Erik Maclocha. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Tofield United Church, Tofield, Alberta. Interment will follow in the Tofield Cemetery.
