Daughter of John and Annie (Janak) Kocourek. Married Frank Trouba on May 8, 1894 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Omaha, Nebr. '''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), August 31, 1939, p. 5, col. 5 Death of Mrs. Trouba Mrs. Mary Frances Trouba, 74 years of age, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 23, at her far home between Dwight and Garland. Funeral services were held in Assumption Catholic church in Dwight at 10 o'clock Saturday morning and burial was in the Dwight cemetery. Mrs. Trouba was born in Czechoslovakia and came to America 50 years ago, living in Omaha for 30 years and since then in Seward county. Mr. Trouba died 12 years ago. Mrs. Trouba leaves five sons, Joe of Garland, Charles of Dwight, Rudolf of Touhy, James of Crete and John of Bee, one sister, Mrs. Kate Tesar of Houston, Tex, and 18 grandchildren. '''''''''' Seward Independent (Seward, Nebr.), August 31, 1939, p. 1, col. 7 Resident of A Precinct Buried Last Saturday Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 9:15 at the home, and at 10:00 a.m. at the Dwight Catholic church for Mrs. Mary Frances Trouba, 74, who died Wednesday at her home between Garland and Dwight. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Trouba was born in Czechoslovakia and has been in the United States for the past 50 years, the last 20 of which were spent on her farm in A precinct. Her husband, Frank preceded her in death 12 years ago. Surviving are five sons, Joe of Garland, Charles of Dwight, Rudolf of Touhy, James of Crete and John of Bee; a sister, Mrs. Katie Tesar of Houston, Tex., and 18 grandchildren.
