Bio

Allois and Maria (Schlehuber) had Joseph, who was born in Illinois between his siblings, Sophie and Albert. Joseph died while the Weinbergers were living in Peoria, Texas. He is buried at Peoria Cemetery, Peoria, Hill Co., Texas. Albert, Julius and Alphonse Weinberger and Leo Miller and Louise (Miller) Duncan all knew where Joseph was buried, but the last time anyone went out to the Peoria Cemetery they could not find the grave. They were told that the cemetery burned off at one time and a lot of the stones were ruined and that there are no records of the old burials. There are many unmarked graves of rural residents and transients in this cemetery.
