Alice Mae Patterson was born in Talledega County Alabama. She was the daughter of Wiley Judson Patterson and Alice 'Douglas' Patterson. She was married to Owen Sparks on June 8, 1913 in Dallas County Arkansas. She was the mother of Jack Sparks and Gurvis Allen Sparks.
