Aleene Carwile WINTERS - Aleene M. Carwile, 91, of Ballinger died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in a Ballinger hospital. Service will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Winters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Northview Cemetery. She was born April 24, 1909, in Norton and was a lifelong resident of Ballinger. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had worked at Mercer Shoe Company. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Charles Nectoux of Groves; and a sister-in-law, Odessa Dobbins of Winters.
