Osmera Rev. James Cooper celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial for Emilie Marie Osmera of Dwight Assumption Church on Saturday morning, Dec. 15. Mrs. Osmera, 68, died Dec. 11 following a four-year illness with Alzheimers and bone cancer. Emilie Marie Osmera, the daughter of John and Anna Liska Trousil, was born March 23, 1922, at Bee. She attended rural school Bethlehem No. 32. On May 15, 1950, she was united in marriage to John A. Osmera at St. Patrick's Church, Omaha. two children were born to this union. She lived in Omaha from 1950, moving to Dwight in 1986. A homemaker, she was a member of Dwight Assumption Church, Dwight Altar Society, Dwight Legion Auxiliary, the Assumption Church choir, Omaha and the Omaha Assumption Legion of Mary. She leaves husband, John, of Dwight; a son, Eugene Osmera of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Darlene) Kouma of Dwight; a brother, John Trousil of Valparaiso; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Sedlak and Mrs. Mike (Lucile) Koory, both of Omaha and one granddaughter. Her parents, a brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
