Donald Vyhlidal, 73 years of Morse Bluff, NE passed away Sat. Aug. 25, 2012 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Don was born March 28, 1939 at Morse Bluff, NE to Cyril and Barbara (Brousek) Vyhlidal. He has lived his whole life on the farm at Morse Bluff. Don farmed and raised cattle on the farm at Morse Bluff. He loved his cattle and gardening. When he was younger he played drums in his fathers' band. Don Vyhlidal married Shirley (Zoubek) Padrnos August 31, 1985 in Fremont, NE He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Morse Bluff. He loved to tell stories of his youth to his step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He taught his grandchildren how to drive a tractor. He loved listening to polka music and singing it. He also loved NASCAR racing, wrestling shows on TV and the outdoors. Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Vyhlidal of Morse Bluff, NE; step son Don Padrnos of Fremont; step daughter, Debbie Iemmiti of Staten Island, NY; sister, Hattie Pabian of David City, NE; 16 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; step son, Kevin Padrnos and nephew Doug Pabian. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Tuessday Aug. 28, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Morse Bluff, NE. Vigil/Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Monday and Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Monday all at Moser Memorial Chapel at North Bend, NE. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Catholic Cemetery at Morse Bluff.
