Gerald Ray "Butch" Eldridge, 69, of Killeen, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 24, 2012. Funeral services will on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Central Christian Church at 2 p.m. with burial at Killeen City Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Butch was born in Greenville, Texas, to the late John R. and Johnnie Walker Eldridge, where he grew up. On July 22, 1961, he married Sandra Kay Bostick, of Royce City, Texas, and they had two children. Later on, he married Kathy McDonald, of Killeen, on January 1, 1986. He worked for Myong's Cove Barber Shop for more than two decades where he made many friends. He was an avid sportsman who traveled all over the United States and spent a great deal of time in the Alaskan outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Walker Wright; step-mother, Ann Eldridge; and his sister, Judy Eldridge Fogle. Survivors include his wife, Kathy; daughter, Wendy Kay O'Neal and her husband, Patrick; son, Randy M. Eldridge and his wife, Tina; grandchildren, Zachary and Tye Eldridge and Hanna O'Neal, Michael and Clay Hebert, Trenton Hebert, Aubra Hebert and Brice Buchanan; father, John R. Eldridge; sisters: Johnnie Wood, Jerry Wykes, Linda Gallaway, Betty Shupp, Joan Wrights, Jean Wright, and Julie Ash Neisert. Killeen Daily Herald: 8/26/2012...G10
