Son of Edwin Lewis Matthews, 1893-1972 and Elizabeth Pernesa (Rice) Matthews, 1896-1967. Married Vivene (Fuller)July 1, 1946 In Kansas. Children: Roger, Penny, Sheryl and Glenna. Dallas served in the United States Navy World War II from 1943 to 1948. He served on two ships USS Belle Grove and USS South Dakota. Military Information: EM3C, US NAVY
