NORFOLK DAILY NEWS; Norfolk, Nebraska; Wednesday, February 2, 2005; page 7 Services for Cheryl Hirschbach Pierson, 59, Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Norfolk will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Wallasky will officiate with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery. She died of natural causes Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 in Miami. She was born Nov. 23, 1945, at Lincoln to Leslie and Virginia (Samsel) Chaffin. She graduated from Norfolk High School and the University of Nebraska, receiving a degree in elementary education,. She married Kip Hirschbach on Aug. 29, 1966, at Norfolk. She had been a real estate agent with Dover Realtors. While in Norfolk, she also was involved with the Humane Society, PEO and Norfolk Country Club. She moved to Florida in 1998 where she was a real estate agent with Century 21 Almar & Associates. She was involved with the Library Association, Civic Association and Mariners Boat Club. She married Larry Pierson on Sept. 14, 1998. She was survived by 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, her parents, and 1 sister. She was preceded in death by one brother.
