Bio

Leola Vera Petersen Frame Dudley passed away peacefully August 16, 2012, at the age of 92. Leola was born February 19, 1920 in Murray, Utah. She was the firstborn daughter of Laura and Craig Petersen. She graduated from Murray High School in 1938. She married Howard Frame July 5, 1938. Howard passed away April 2, 1974. She later married Lynn Dudley in 1979. He preceded her in death in 1986. Leola has always been one of those people whose smile, laughter and humor can light up any room or someone's life. She loved family, singing, flowers, camping, California, cruises, and hats. She is survived by: Winton (Marian) Frame, Fairview, UT; Faline (Paul) Forbes, Murray, UT; Stephen Frame, Midvale,UT; Ryan (Libby) Dudley, Alexandria, VA; Frank (Carol) Dudley, Grand Junction, CO; and Marie (Ernie) Smith, Commerce, TX. She has 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of Beehive Homes (Draper,Utah) for their kindness and care. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray with a viewing 10-10:45 a.m prior to services. Interment: Taylorsville Cemetery.
