Bio

Madeline Woods, 81, of Lovington, died in Farwell Nursing Home. She was married to Alfred Thomas Woods on December 24, 1925, in Decatur, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1989. Also preceding her was a son, L.G. Wood, in 1961. A homemaker, she had lived in Artesia for 35 years. In 1988 she moved with her husband from Roswell to Lovington, where she lived prior to the nursing home in Farwell. Sons: Alvin Woods of Lovington Cecil Woods of Hobbs Daughter: Mary Jenkins of Conchas Dam Sister: Pauline Musick of Weatherford, Texas. (obit. Hobbs News Sun - October 10, 1990)
