Mr. August Janak, Jr., age 65, of Crockett, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. He was born February 12, 1947 in Houston County and was a lifetime resident of Crockett. Mr. Janak was retired having worked for H. E. B. and attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include brothers, Charles Larry Janak and wife, Cathy of Crockett, Louis Wayne Janak of Crockett; nieces and nephews, Darla Michelle LaBorde of Houston, Reeve LaBorde of Houston, Charles Janak of Conroe, Sharon Montgomery of Lake Jackson and Chris Montgomery of Houston; cousins, Barbara Carroll of Crockett, Cokie Tyer of Crockett, Marvin LaRue of Lovelady, Helen Perkins of Lovelady, Willie Howard of Conroe, Kathryn Van Dyke of Trinity and Jo Ann Van Dyke of Trinity. Preceded in death by parents, August and Emily Janak. Graveside funeral services for Mr. August Janak, Jr. will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Goss officiating. Interment will follow. Family will receive friends Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
