Son of Solomon Doyle Jr and Margaret Smith. Husband of Bertha and Margaret Fairley. Southwest Daily News Sulphur, Louisiana • Fri, Jan 4, 1952; Page 4 Marion Doyle Rites Are Held Friday Final rites for Marion Doyle, 77, of Starks were held Friday at 3 p. m. at the Pentecostal church in Starks with the Rev. H. B. Morgan, officiating. Doyle suddenly died at his residence Thursday morning at 5 o'clock. Burial was in the family cemetery in Starks with the Hixson funeral home in charge of arrangements. He was born in Starks on April 14, 1874, and lived there all his life. He was a member of the Pentecostal church and was a retired truck farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Doyle; three sons, Bennie and Bluett of Port Arthur, and Allen of Beaumont; three daughters, Miss Daisy Doyle of Orange, Texas, Mrs. T. C. Ashworth of Port Arthur, Texas, and Mrs. Edgar Johnson also of Orange ;two brothers, Albert and Liman both of Starks; one sister, Mrs. Lula Fairly of Starks; 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
