The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), October 15, 1925, p. 4, col. 4 DWIGHT NEWS James, the 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hladky, living near Staplehurst, died Wednesday from diphtheria and burial was in the Dwight Catholic cemetery this (Thursday) afternoon. ''''''''''' Blue Valley Blade (Seward, Nebr.), October 21, 1925, p. 2, col. 4 STAPLEHURST NEWS James, the nine year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Hladky died last Monday with diphtheria. Mrs. Hladky has been very sick with the disease but is some better now.
