No headstone was found for Susan Frances McVaey. She was a daughter of John McVaey and Mary (maiden name unknown) McVaey. From the Jasper Newsboy - 21 Apr 1932 Mrs. Susan Stanley, 93, Dies At Peachtree Funeral services were held at noon yesterday for Susan Stanley, 93, who died Tuesday at noon at the home of her son-in-law, Carl Vaughn, in Peachtree Community. Burial was in Hancock cemetery, with Rev. J. A. Henderson officiating. Mrs. Stanley was born in the state of Alabama, but had been living at Peachtree for a number of years. Had she lived until June, she would have passed her 94th birthday. She was a member of the Methodist church for more than 50 years, and is survived by five living children. The 1900 US Census for Justice Precinct 2, Shelby County, Texas shows her birthday as Aug 1840 and her birthplace as Georgia.
